Our Story

Outdoor Education Specialists

A team dedicated to making outdoor activity planning accessible, inclusive, and engaging for everyone, regardless of experience or ability.

Our Mission

We believe outdoor engagement enriches life. Yet barriers—perceived or real—prevent many from exploring. Our mission is removing those barriers through education, practical guidance, and community support.

We provide informational resources on activity planning, route design, accessibility, and habit sustainability. We are educators, not coaches, trainers, or health professionals. Our role is empowering informed choices, not prescribing outcomes.

Our Values

What Guides Our Work

Accessibility First

Every resource considers diverse abilities, mobilities, and access needs. Inclusive design benefits everyone, not just those with disabilities.

Sustainability

We promote outdoor engagement that people can maintain long-term. Quick fixes aren't our style—we build habits lasting years.

Autonomy

You know your circumstances. We provide frameworks and information; you make informed choices. We respect your autonomy in all things.

Transparency

We're clear about what we are and are not. Not medical professionals. Not coaches. Educational specialists providing informational resources.

Our Journey

Cleanligament started in 2021 when our founders recognised a gap: people wanted practical, accessible outdoor activity guidance but found existing resources either too prescriptive or too focused on extreme sport.

We started small—developing route templates, running group sessions, and gathering feedback. Our community grew organically through word-of-mouth and social media. Today, we serve thousands through our online resources and personalised consultations.

Based in Oxford, we remain committed to our founding principles: education over prescription, inclusion over exclusion, and sustainability over spectacle.

Our Commitments

Educational Focus

We provide informational guidance on activity planning. We are not medical, fitness, or health professionals. Our role is education only.

Transparent Practices

We publish our team details, business registration, and operational principles. Transparency builds trust. You should know who you're learning from.

Continuous Improvement

We actively seek feedback and regularly update resources. Your suggestions help us improve. Send feedback through our contact form.

Accessible Engagement

Free resources remain free. Paid consultations are affordable. We offer flexibility around accessibility requirements and financial circumstances.
